Renewals and refunds
Monthly and yearly plans are charged in advance and renew automatically until you cancel in the Polar billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. The $499 option is charged once and does not renew. For any digital plan charge you may request a full refund within 14 days, provided no book export has been generated yet. The terms of service have the full details.
Printing

Questions about pricing
Is there a free trial?
Your first chapter is free and needs no card. There is no free trial of the subscriptions themselves: the monthly and yearly plans are charged when you choose them.
What is the difference between the plans?
Only how you pay. Monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel; the one-time option is charged once. All three give the same guided writing access.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Cancel at any time in the Polar billing portal; the next charge stops and access continues through the period you have paid for. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge as long as no book export has been generated.
Can I order a printed book?
Not yet. Printed-copy ordering is not available and is not included in these plans. You can download the finished book as a PDF or EPUB.
Can I set this up for a parent?
Yes, sit down together. The plan belongs to the account that writes the book, so help your parent create their own account, start the free first chapter with them, and ask them to invite you to read along or help write.
Do you train AI models on my memories?
No. Your recordings and chapters are not used to train AI models, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
