Getting the worksheet ready…

Your cards stay in this page’s memory. They are not uploaded or autosaved: refreshing or closing clears them. Download text or print before leaving. Every field you fill appears on the visible card and in the saved copy.

Make a name card for each person

Start with six empty cards and add up to twenty. Use a name, an optional family connection and a short conversation line. Every field is optional.

Name tag 1

Use the name this person wants on their card. A first name or chosen name is enough.

A family branch or a connection in your own words. Leave it blank if the person prefers.

A short memory, interest or question the person is happy to share on a visible card.

Family reunion name tags

Print on plain paper or card, then cut around the dashed borders. These are generic cut-out cards, without a precut label-stock match.

Give the name room to be read

Use the name a person wants to share. A family branch or a short connection can help people place one another, and a small memory or interest can open a conversation. Ask what the person wants displayed; all three fields are optional.

The Name Tag Jungle family-reunion description includes family-relationship fields. Avery’s badge catalog provides templates for particular badge products. These MemoirWell cards use an original, generic cut-out layout for plain paper or card. They are not aligned to any manufacturer’s precut sheets.

Keep the conversation line short

Try a detail the person is comfortable sharing, such as a favorite family recipe or a question about an old photograph. A card is for a visible introduction. Keep private contact details and arrangements in a separate guest list.

A fictional example

Maple cousins gathering. Name: Rosa. Family connection: Jo’s cousin. Conversation line: Ask me about the porch garden. The people and gathering are invented; replace every part with your own wording.

Before you print the cards

Are these free printable family reunion name tags?

Yes. Start with six cards and add up to twenty. An empty sheet prints six cards with handwriting lines. Once you enter text, printing and TXT include only cards with something written in any field. A card with only a family connection or conversation line is kept.

Do these fit Avery labels or badge holders?

No specific label sheet or holder is supported. Print on plain paper or card and cut around the dashed borders. The cards grow to fit longer wording, so check the print preview before cutting. For a particular precut product, use its manufacturer’s matching template.

Are the names saved or uploaded?

The cards stay only in this page’s memory, without upload or autosave. Refreshing or closing clears them. Download text or print before leaving. TXT and PDF copies cannot be reopened here as an editable card set. All filled fields appear in your saved copy.

How do I print or save a PDF?

Choose Review my cards, then Print or save PDF, or print from the browser menu while editing. Choose Letter or A4 and check the preview. Names and notes wrap without being shortened; more text can require extra pages. The sheet uses two columns for cutting out.

Keep the story behind the introduction

Save your cards first. MemoirWell’s separate guided interview can help you develop a memory into an AI-assisted draft chapter to check and edit. Card text is not transferred automatically.
