Choose questions people will enjoy answering
A small family detail can begin a much longer story: a gathering place, a dish, a nickname or an object passed along. Make each question clear enough for the people playing. Let relatives add another answer or a different memory, rather than treating a disputed family detail as settled.
The custom-family section of Reunly’s printable trivia asks a host to prepare their own family questions before the reunion. SignUp.com’s family trivia instructions describe a question caller, separate player answer sheets and agreeing on answers as a group. This editor uses original question ideas and lets you supply your own answers; it does not reproduce either publisher’s game.
A fictional example
Question: Which small object did Pat bring to our first picnic? Host answer: A blue enamel cup. Checking note: Jo’s picnic note; ask Pat about the color. The people and detail are invented. On the player sheet only the question appears; the answer and uncertainty stay in the host key.
Leave room for the story afterward
You can read questions aloud or give out printed player sheets. Agree together which answers fit. This page does not collect responses or calculate scores. Put the game in your reunion agenda and keep longer memories in a gathering memory book afterward.
Before you share the game
Are these free printable family reunion trivia questions?
Yes. There are six original, editable question starters and room for up to twenty entries. We do not supply facts or answers about your family. Edit the questions and write answers your family can check. More than one answer may be reasonable.
What is the difference between the two copies?
The player sheet contains the title, gathering, date, questions and answer lines. It leaves out the host-answer and checking-note fields. The separately selected host key includes those fields. Review starts with the player sheet; Back to editing and Undo return to that copy. Printing from the editor prints the player sheet.
What happens to empty questions or an answer without a question?
Entries with writing in any of the three fields are kept under their original numbers. An answer or checking note without a question stays in the host key; its player-sheet entry has a blank question line, without the private wording. Completely untouched empty entries are omitted. If every entry is empty, six blank entries print for handwriting.
Are our answers saved or sent anywhere?
They stay only in this page’s memory. There is no account, upload, autosave, AI, sending or online answer collection. Refreshing or closing clears everything. Download the host key as well as the player sheet if you want to keep all your fields. TXT and PDF copies cannot be reopened here for editing.
How do I print a player sheet and host key?
Choose Review my game, select the copy, then Print or save PDF. Print each copy separately. Choose Letter or A4 and check the preview, especially with long questions or host notes. Ordinary short questions can share a page; longer writing continues onto additional pages. Text downloads also follow the selected copy.
What do Clear and Undo restore?
Clear this question asks first, then clears that entry’s question, host answer and checking note. Undo restores all three until you write new words in that same entry or close the page. Editing another entry or the heading keeps Undo. Undo from Review returns to editing and the player-copy setting.
Keep the memory behind an answer
Save both game copies first. MemoirWell’s separate guided interview can help you develop a memory into an AI-assisted chapter draft to check and edit. It does not import the game or verify its answers.
